Jo Johnson -Prayer flag swap!

Jo Johnson in Indiana sent 4 lovely prayer flags that share her love of quilting. She wrote me and said she used the selvage from her quilting to make her flags. Jo also said when she started to make them she was thinking about life in general . . . "there is always chaos and calm -so there you have it."  (her theme). Jo remarked that she wished she could be more carefree in her art, but personally, I really like what she has done. I love how she used a permanent marker to simply write her quotes and prayers directly on. And not being a quilter, I envy her wonderful patterns. Thanks very much for the extra flag for me!

Jo Johnson - July ATCs: colour my world

Three envelopes of ATCs sailed in today for the July Colour my World ATC swap. There is still room in this swap if you like to work quickly - due in my hands August 6. The first envelope I opened was from Jo Johnson in Indiana. her envelope was really cool too. Look at these postage stamps!

#44.Jo Johnson - Little Book swap!

It is coming down to the wire for this swap! All books are due in my hands no later than Saturday's mail. I recently got an email from Jo Johnson in Indiana saying she had one finished book and another book that was made but not decorated that she wanted to give to me. Could she still participate? I said yes! She just needed to get them to me on time, which she did ; ^ )
