Marion Bockelmann: By the Sea ATCs

Whew! Can you believe it took 6 weeks for Marion's ATCs to arrive in my mailbox from Germany? Marion sent her ATCs out on May 2nd and I just received them today. Both of us were wondering if they would ever show up. I am so glad they did, and so is Marion! She made a set of 3 ATCs, an extra one for me & a beautiful card. See for yourself! 

This is Marion's 8th creative swap and she has sent in so many wonderful creations. Thank you for all your efforts Marion, including International mailing!

Marion Bockelmann -July ATCs: Colour my World

I feel very lucky to have Marion Bockelmann join us from Germany for our Colour My World ATC swap! Marion said that she does not usually like color themes and rarely works monochromatic, but loves my swaps and wanted to take on this challenge. I am so glad she did, because I adore Marion's art, especially her ATCs. You can read a bit more about her ATCs on this post on her blog.

Marion gives us a world colored . . . grey (love this!) . . . Teal . . . . and Rust -yum!

4x4 collage swap - roads + paths: Marion Bockelmann, Germany (set #2)

Well, I must say seeing Marion's 4x4 collages for this swap in person is much better than a sneak peek on her blog -wow!! I just love the look Marion has created on her 4x4's with rubber stamping, paint and I believe, watercolor pencil. Marion writes, "Yes, they are made with inkjet transfers that I have painted and drawn over with Gesso, Caran d´Ache Neocolor II crayons and watercolour pencils. These are my favourite materials in general, and I´ve used them all here.Can´t wait to see what the others come up with!"  - Take a look for yourself -click on any image for more details. Thanks so much Marion. wow! a sneak peek for marion bockelmann's 4x4's

Yes! I can tell that Marion Bockelmann in Germany was also inspired by the current theme (and swap) of roads + paths just like I was. Yikes, I am totally in love with what Marion has created already! I am quite fond of Marion's style anyway and follow her blog - bockel24 but her 4x4's really 'hit me' when I saw them with their use of quotes, color, stamping, paint, and just the feeling they evoke.
