Linda Freeman - Inspiration Collage

From the State of Washington, Linda Freeman's Collages have flown in :0)

So soft and beautiful . . . love that bit of marbled blue paper I sent!

lovely blending on the edges with ink, I think?

I spy lots of goodies I sent, so nicely composed.

Linda also sent a note and a generous bag of collage goodies for me to play with.
I love what she wrote, "It's always a treat to play with someone else's stuff!"
So true, I look forward to diving in!! Thanks, Linda.

#28.Linda Freeman -Little Book Swap!

Linda Freeman lives in the state of Washington. She has sent in 3 books for the swap and one as a gift for me. Thank you, Linda! She created her little books using a Bind-it-all system with a selection of vintage papers and wonderful cabinet cards for the covers. Linda wrote about how she created them along with sharing some great photos on her blog, Lambsworld. Please check it out! I will add a few photos that I took below. I cannot help but add how Linda decorated the box she sent her books in!

We are in a mail art exchange together and she knows I would love this!
Each book comes in it's own little bag made by Linda.

thanks so much, Linda -what a treat all around!!

Linda Freeman: Vintage note card swap!

This lovely envelope greeted me today -

I don't know if Linda knows how much I love mail art, but this sure had me smiling. When I emailed her later and told her so, she told me she could hardly bear to send a plain envelope anymore! A woman of my same heart and mind.  And if that was not enough, inside were her swap pieces.

Linda made beautiful little vellum folios for her note card sets

Her cards are gorgeous and she has decorated the envelopes inside and out!

The colors, layers, lace, images and charms are all magnifique!

click for a lot more detail

Thanks so much Linda! To read more about how Linda created her cards, please go to her blog, Lambsworld. Wonderful vintage cards!!

Linda Freeman: mail art swap!

I have been admiring Linda's art for quite some time through the online classes I have been taking this year with Mary Green. As part of her classes, Mary uses a flickr photo sharing group for her students to share their class work. I have really loved that part of the class. I get to be exposed to many different new artists and read their process going through Mary's exercises for vintage collage. Linda's work has always been inspirational to me and you will see why I think, when I share her envelopes! Linda did include something inside her envelopes (I know because I opened the extra one for me) but I will keep it a secret -- it is a few cool supplies for art-making. To learn more about these envelopes and Linda's art, please visit her blog, lambswool.

Your envelopes are awesome, Linda!
I am so glad you followed my link to this blog and signed up.
Thanks for your beautiful contribution.
