Itty Bitty Collage swap: Jo~Ann Reichert

From Jo~Ann Reichert, my friend in art in PA, we have a set of 6 Itty Bitty collages & an extra one for me - thanks! Jo~Ann wrote and said I inspired her to paint more, I think through the on-line/email course (fabric stamping & painting) she took with me earlier this year -- and so, that is what she did for this swap! Jo~Ann says she created her Itty Bittys on cloth/paper canvas, I think similar to the kind I purchase in a large pad and cut down to size.

Jo~Ann used free motion stitching for the sun as well as clay, texture paint and acrylic paint. She says that Diamond Glaze makes the water shine and she added embellishments of shells and coins to add interest to her Itty Bittys. Here they all are -- and thanks for the extra Itty Bitty for me!

Fabric Bag Swap - Jo~Ann Reichert, PA

From Jo~Ann Reichert in PA, an absolutely lovely fall-themed wool bag! Jo~Ann wrote to me when she shared her bag making process:
"Lenna, This purse was purchased. It's wool. All the leaves were made from vintage suit jackets, washed and felted. Then they were cut out and embroidered. The lady is from Luna.com a company who has beautiful victorian photos. She is free motion stitched under a veil material.The acorns are real but gold embossed on top and glazed. Hope who ever gets this likes it. This was fun and exciting, as all your swaps. Jo~Ann Reichert, Butler, Pa. "

Circle Book Swap - JoAnn Reichert, PA

Garden ATCs - Jo~Ann Reichert, Pennsylvania

Another beautiful set of fabric ATCs on a summer garden theme have arrived in CT! Today's mail brought me 9 more wonderful ATCs, plus an extra one as a gift for me. Wow! Thanks so much to Jo~Ann Reichert, who sent these from PA. Lately I have been receiving sets of NINE ATCs, which is just wonderful, but please note that you can send in 3, 6, OR 9 ATCs for this swap; you don't have to send in 9.
