From Val in Australia, we have some very "warm" shades of sunshine quilties; four for the swap and an extra one for me, thank you so much!

The bright red & orange circled fabric is the back of each piece. Lots of stitching, fibers and textural elements - mmm!

Here are some really cool Itty Bitty collages (2 sets of 6) made by Val Duncan from Dural, Australia! I love the bright colors and the artistic collage-like feel these little collages have that Val made. Our theme for this swap is 'summer' and these pieces look very summery to me, despite the fact that it is winter where Val lives right now, wow! Shades of Spring/ Brown + Blue Quilties: Val Duncan

From Sydney, Australia -Val Duncan joins us once again -hooray! I love the free motion stitching Val has done on her Shades of Spring (brown & Blue) quilties, and the blue fabric with brown dots is so sweet! My favorite quiltie is below with silk ribbon embroidery flowers. Val made 4 for the swap and generously made an extra one for me -- I can't thank you enough! WOW! Look what I recieved in the mail today from Val Duncan in 'down under' Dural, Australia - a vivid, bright summer garden! I'm not sure, but it looks like Val has done some felting techniques on her ATCs.
