Becky Sunderman: Bead Swap

My answer to Becky's email that said she hoped I'd like what was coming my way is - very much like what came my wayBecky sent in 3 different types of paper and fabric beads, each one with brief instructions included in each individual clear bag, cool! Below is a close up of one bead out of it's bag.
Becky created some beads from a recycled tyvek envelope . . . .

Some beads were made from cloth and wire . . .
and some were made from catalog pages and tulle!

There were 20 all together!
thank you, becky!

I will add your name to the drawing for some extra handmade beads :)

Becky Sunderman: Vintage note card swap!

My mail box was brightened yesterday by an envelope from Becky S. in Arkansas. Besides her participation in creative swaps, I know Becky from fabric-related groups where she arranged for me to teach the group members. It is a pleasure to have her here in the Vintage note card swap. Her cards and envelopes are a little bit different (which I love) and so beautiful!

wonderful set

I love the red trim on this card

 matching envelopes, mmmm!

The netting is brilliant : ) It really adds to the Vintage appeal.

Wonderful!
Thanks so much, Becky!

Becky Sunderman: mail art swap!

I received more envelopes today, check the sidebar list to see what has arrived. Two more of Becky's mail art pieces came in, so I now have a complete set from her. Becky sent in 3 wonderfully creative fabric postcards, protected in a clear plastic sleeve, and one zentangle style envelope. Thank you so much for the extra piece for me, Becky! You can read more about her mail art on her blog: Shades of the Ozarks.
