-Today from Lisa in Florida I received 2 sets, for a total of 6 ATCs, plus an extra one for me! Thanks so much Lisa. I just checked my list of swaps by participants in the sidebar of the blog and found out that this is Lisa's 13th swap with me! She participated in 6 swaps during 2008, 4 in 2010, 1 in 2011, 1 in 2016, plus this one in 2023. That's impressive! I always enjoy seeing what Lisa creates.

Ocean/Sunset ATCs: Lisa Mallette

Oh my! There are six envelopes of ATCs here for me to upload to the swaps blog. Thanks for your patience with me in getting this done. I'll upload a couple sets tonight and then save the rest for tomorrow morning. Near the end of the swap the packages always start tumbling in . . . forgive me if I have fewer words to accompany the artwork. Actually, the ATCs can stand on their own!

From Lisa Mallette in Florida we have a sweet set of colorful Foxes in sunset colors . . .

I just love these, Lisa. You have great style!

Lisa made an extra ATC for me - It's a different subject and totally wonderful.
Next to that ATC below is an example of the back of her ATCs.
Each fox had something different to say!!

I just discovered Lisa's blog post about creating these ATCs -Go HERE to take a look!
So fun, thank you Lisa!

#7.Lisa Mallette: Little Book swap!

I just love these itsy bitsy teensy weeny books that Lisa from Florida sent in for our swap! And she gave me the idea to put a quarter in the photo so you could see how really tiny they are. The Bird book (shrink plastic) is a hostess gift!

I have some close ups below with the books open. They are little envelope books, how cool! And yes, you can even pull the "notes" out ; ^ ) Lisa wrote about making them and has some even better photos here.

Here is my gift book in it's new home in my studio!

It has a shrink plastic cover and paper pages : ^)
Thank you so much, Lisa!!!
All of your books totally rock! The tiny envelope books are amazing.

Lisa, I hope you have a really wonderful time taking classes with Tim Holtz in Clearwater this weekend at Whim-so-doodle. This is a new store for me, I will need to check it out!! If I had known, I might have been able to join you . . . except, Steven has wrangled me into going to a Cedar Key boating - canoeing - sailing weekend coming up on Friday. Here is what last year's event was like. I have never been there before but it should be fun. We even have a Pet Sitter for Asia & Chloe!!

Thanks again for participating, love having you in my swaps!

Lisa Mallette: Technique Tag Book swap

I always enjoy receiving a package from Lisa; she has a style with her artwork that really makes me smile.

Sooooo pretty!!
Lisa wrote an awesome post about making her Tags for the Technique Book swap. Please visit her blog, Studio Rose to see all 10 Tags she made, and in greater detail. Thank you Lisa! I look forward to receiving more packages from all of you in the next few weeks even though I will be in the process of moving. It will be a lovely distraction for me I think, when I get tired of packing or unpacking. There are 28 participants in the Technique Tag Book swap and I have 4 sets (of 10 tags) in my hands now. That means 24 more by September 30th October 9th . . . this will seem like a piece of cake after the 49 participants we had in our garden variety swap!  : ) Watch the sidebar for a note when your package has been received and I will do my best to do the uploading in a timely fashion & keep you updated!

Star Ornament Swap! Lisa Mallette - Florida

Lisa Mallette from Florida, has sent in two different sets of 5 star ornaments for our swap due nov. 1st -wow! The 2 sets are very different from each other, but both are quite impressive. My favorite set is the wooden stars, below. Lisa gave them a really interesting paint/embossed/stamped texture and I just love the wire she fashioned to hang them.

Lisa has her own blog, Studio Rose where you can read more about them and see more of her art! Lisa wrote and said she always looks forward to my swaps -- Thank you, Lisa. I always look forward to you participating in my swaps!!

Shades of Spring/ Brown + Blue Quilties: Lisa Mallette

We've received TWO sets of Brown & Blue Quilties in the same design for our "Shades of Spring" quilties swap. These are from Lisa Mallette in FT White, FL. Lisa also made an extra quiltie for me - truly, thanks so much, Lisa!

The rich brown and the shades of robin egg blue you have chosen are just lovely. You also did an excellent job of labeling your quilties, so I am showing off the back too : ) -click on any scan for more detail. I LIKE how I can see your stitching on the back of the quiltie because it makes your piece just that much more interesting. Great job & especially since you made so many!

Altered by Design ATC swap: Lisa Mallette

We have our second entry in for the Angels, Fairies & Divas ATC swap sponsored by Altered by Design! These ATCs are created by Lisa Mallette from FT White, Florida. They are beautiful & unusual! Lisa created two sets of 5 ATCs (plus an extra one as a gift) and she used a piece of acrylic in making them so they are dimensional. She also stamped on the acrylic making them very dimensional! Wonderful job, Lisa, and I love the images you chose.

Here are some more pictures, click on any of them for more detail of Lisa's ATCs. There is still room in this swap to join and it is due in my hands May 24th. Details are HERE.
