This tiny little Piano Hinge book was made for me by my student Linda Cox, back in 2003 when I lived & taught classes in Connecticut! |
The Little Book swap is full with 60 participants and is now closed for registration. The participant list is in the sidebar under 'followers' and the feedblitz newsletter sign ups. If you are on that list you are in the swap! The list includes a very impressive International contingent. I really love this! If you missed registering for one reason or another and would like to be put on a waiting list in case someone must drop out, please email me & let me know.
-Claire asked: When do we need to decide how many books we are making??
ReplyDeleteYou can decide right up until when you send your swaps! Create either 2, 3 or 4 handmade little books, decorated & embellished (or not) with a maximum size of 5" (12.7 cm) in any direction, with 4-20 pages! : ))) My lesson will give you book instructions and ideas but you can make any little book you can dream up.
so glad you joined. With your love of miniatures it seems perfect!

What is the last day we can sign up? I'm torn on this one because I have a lot of commitments at the moment, but if I get them all done, I might want to jump in and do this.

Hi Karen! I usually close sign-ups not at a certain date but when the number of sign ups is what I think I can manage! Right now sign ups are at 37 and I think I will allow up to 55. So you can think about it and check back? I announced only about 4 days ago but registrations are usually hot & heavy in the first few days. The blessings are if you want to do it but are short on time you only need to make 2 little books and they are not due until June 18, over 2 months away! I would love to have you if you can swing it! : ^ ) lenna
ReplyDeleteHi Lenna, I have just joined up for your swap, and am looking forward to it very much! Hugs from Germany, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWelcome, valerie! I received your registration, any questions let me know.
ReplyDeleteHi Lenna
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for leaving your comment on my blog. I have just taken a peek at yours. I am mesmerised. The quality of the work is so very high. I look at one piece and think "oh I love that" then another and another. As I told Jo I have no talents in that direction but I so admire it in others.
I WILL visit again! Wonderful.
Kindest regards
Sue
