(New!) Swap #10: Shades of Sunshine Quilties (4/4 or 8/8)

Because participation is limited you must email me: lenna@creativelenna.com to check space availability and register for any creative swap. Please include your first and last name along with your preferred email address for correspondence. After I receive your email I will let you know promptly if there is room in the swap. I will put you on the swap list if there is room or put you on a waiting list if there is not. Please consider carefulyy if you will be able to follow through on the commitment before signing up. Once your participation is confirmed, I will send you the full details of the swap including mailing instructions!

Due Sept 20th – Shades of Sunshine: Yellow/Orange/Red 6”x6” Quilties (4/4 or 8/8) ::: 35 participants as of June 16th--FULL SWAP
Participants will create 4 Quilties (fabric pages) in exchange for 4 different ones in return. You may create 2 sets of 4 quilties if you wish and your quilties must all be the same size: 6” x 6” with finished edges. Create on a theme of “Shades of Sunshine” – and specifically these colors: varied shades of yellow, orange and red/pink. Above is just a sample quiltie I did last year to give you an idea! You can read about HOW I created it on my art blog.

~Think summer sunshine, HOT colors, warm colors, sunrises and sunsets, and bright flowers blooming under the sunshine. Mixed media embellishments are encouraged. Note: For all of my quiltie swaps the front and back put together with batting in the middle is considered one quiltie. I have a free tutorial on how to make quilties on my new website A Little Creative Space if you need help on HOW to create one. This swap is limited to 35 players and due in my hands September 20th, 2008. If you do not make this 'received by' deadline, you cannot be included in the swap, so mail early. All swaps will be mailed to you promptly in late September, 2008. Email me to put your name on the wait list! I will get back to you within 48 hours.
