Altered by Design ATC swap: Frieda Oxenham

Mmmmmmm! What a delicious treat was waiting for me in my mailbox just the other day. Frieda Oxenham from Peebleshire, in Scotland UK, has sent in 6 wonderful and colorful felted ATCs for our Altered by Design 'Angel, Fairies and Divas' swap! Frieda is an award winning quilter and her mixed media artwork is always amazing! I am so happy to have her in this swap.

Frieda wrote about how she created these ATCs on her blog. I'm sure you would enjoy reading it. Frieda has mixed paper collage images from Altered by Design with felting, fabric, hand stitching, bond-a-web and beading! Dec 2010: Mail Art Swap!

This swap was due in my hands by December 4th, 2010. We had 50 participants complete this wonderful swap!! The $12.00 fee to register included a 22 page lesson on mail art sent as a pdf file. The $12 fee also includes documentation on the creative swaps blog of all mail art sent in for the swap, return postage/ handling anywhere in the world for your returns was also included. The swaps were returned inside a Mail Art envelope created by me - Lenna Andrews! This was a really fabulous swap we all enjoyed. View all of the awesome MAIL ART here!!
