Shades of Spring/Brown + Blue Quilties: Leah C.

From Leah in Texas we have received a set of great mixed media quilties. Leah did a fantastic job of combining paper images with fabric and sewing them on, one of my favorite things to do!

Thanks Lenna for letting me participate, it was a real eye opener especially when I got the quilties from others. I had fun doing it and seeing the quilties evolve as I kept putting more things on them. Next time I will use more embellishments like buttons and fibers, as well as more quilting and embroidery, also I want to get some personalized mini notecards for the back like Michele Witchell has. Thanks again Lenna!

Dec 2010: Mail Art Swap!

This swap was due in my hands by December 4th, 2010. We had 50 participants complete this wonderful swap!! The $12.00 fee to register included a 22 page lesson on mail art sent as a pdf file. The $12 fee also includes documentation on the creative swaps blog of all mail art sent in for the swap, return postage/ handling anywhere in the world for your returns was also included. The swaps were returned inside a Mail Art envelope created by me - Lenna Andrews! This was a really fabulous swap we all enjoyed. View all of the awesome MAIL ART here!!
