#34. Ellen Lai -Little Book Swap!

Ellen is my first ever creative swap participant from Singapore, welcome! We are so glad to have you with us in the Little Book swap! Ellen makes beautiful, delicate tatted lace and has included quite a lot of her own handmade tatted lace in all 3 books she made for this swap. You'll find a wonderful post on her blog, Little Books filled with tatting -that I would definitely recommend visiting. Ellen has lots more photos of the books and the pages on her own blog. Even though I want to, it is difficult for me to show everything. Enjoy my photos below and visit Ellen's blog too!

This is the first book. Ellen tatted the butterflies you see.
Inside, a pocket page with hand tatted flowers -
Another pocket with tatting & some words inside.
The back. I love her tiny 'handmade by'! Click for details.

 A second book made from 12" x 12" papers
There is a better photo on Ellen's blog.

Below I used Photoshop to put together 4 pages
with Ellen's tatting that are in the second book.

Ellen also made a fabric book -it's wonderful!

 The back -
And a beautiful book mark for me!

Thank you so much Ellen.
I have never seen tatting close up before. I think it is so delicate and absolutely beautiful! It's wonderful that you created so many pieces of tatting to go into your books for our swap. Lucky us!! I am glad your mail did not take too long to get here and you made it with over a week to spare. Thank you for joining us!
